• Air Seychelles, the Seychelles Civil Aviation Authority and SITA have introduced new, state-of-the-art passenger processing systems at the Seychelles International Airport. The new systems will speed up the flow of passengers leaving the airport.

• Qantas was re-booking passengers affected by last Friday’s Johannesburg – Sydney flight cancellation, which resulted from a cracked windscreen but said no further delays or cancellations were expected.

• Qantas business fares are on sale until August 31. Fares are from R34,770 to Australia and R38,440 to New Zealand, for travel until September 30.

• Africa Albida Tourism has strengthened its sales operation, with reservations open 24-hours daily including weekends from the beginning of this month. Two new sales consultants have been appointment and the company plans to add real-time online support with a new LiveChat function.

• The Namibia Tourism Board is promoting quick search functionality for registered service providers on its website, www.namibiatourism.com.
