QANTAS has introduced new year-round fares to Bali from South Africa that allow for stopovers in Australia. South African passport holders do not require a visa for Bali but, Qantas warned, flights to the popular tourist island fill up fast.

Customers can add Bali with fares from R16,210. Taxes are approximately R660 if there are no stops in Sydney. As with Qantas’ traditional stopover offer, taxes must be added for each additional stop.

Regional Manager Michi Messner commented: “Bali is very popular for Australians and our passengers can visit up to three cities within Australia and then hop over to Bali with their Aussie family. What is also key to note is that South African passport holders to not require a visa for Bali.”
